AllergAllay
Specific Aid
Supports the mucous membranes and skin exposed to the effects of seasonal changes, dust and environmental irritants
Cushions your horse from the effects of seasonal change.
AllergAllay particularly supports the mucous membranes and skin exposed to the effects of seasonal changes, dust and environmental irritants.
AllergAllay is a rapidly absorbed fast acting liquid extract. It contains only rich concentrated plant extracts, with no added fillers such as cider vinegar or honey.
AllergAllay contains pure tinctures of Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis), Baical (Scutellaria baicalensis), Albizzia (Albizzia lebbeck), Jamacian Dogwood (Piscidia erythrina) and Ginger (Zingiber officinalis).
Like all our products these tinctures are at a strength of 1:2 ; the strongest concentration available to the equine market.
I just wanted to give you an update on the horse that I spoke to about on Monday, who was suffering with very bad allergic rhinitis.
As discussed, the mare was becoming extremely irritated, sneezing, head tossing and rubbing her nose on every available surface, to an extend where she had worn the skin off her nose. She was not spending much time grazing in the paddock, was becoming irritable to handle (she is normally a very good natured horse) and most worryingly, was starting to toss and flick her head rather a lot when under saddle.
I gave her 2 initial double-doses (ie 40ml 2 x day) on the first day (Tuesday), and by Tuesday evening she was showing definite improvement. I reduced the dosage to 20 ml 2 x daily, and by this morning (Thursday) she is a totally different horse.
She has completely ceased sneezing, has not flicked or tossed her head either when free or when ridden, and no longer rubs her nose. She is back to her normal, happy and content self.
In short, I am amazed and delighted with the results. In fact, the horse has responded better than I would have expected with conventional (steroid-based) therapy.
As you know, allergic problems can vary with changing weather and other factors, so we shall have to wait and see if the improvement is sustained, which I hope and expect will be the case.
This horse is a top dressage horse in the South Island, and I would be more, than happy to endorse this product for you. We have our Canterbury dressage championships starting tomorrow, and I will give you a "progress report" after the weekend.
Thanks and best wishes,
Jenny "surprised and delighted" Scotter & JK L'amour.
